I’m very happy with my decision to have FV Appliance fix our dryer. I contacted them, they responded immediately and worked with my schedule to make the appitem. George came out and fixed the dryer and did a wonderful job. He showed me the old worn parts that were causing the issue. It runs and sounds brand new again! Definitely will use FV Appliance again.

George was awesome! Went way over and above, knew I had a medical necessity to get my dryer fixed as my wife had been in hospital for 37 days due to infection, and finally coming home tomorrow, it was imperative to get all bedding and laundry cleaned in my house before she got here. George worked extra hard to ensure that happened tonight where he could’ve very easily said he couldn’t get it done until tomorrow. He stayed until 830 at night, just incredible customer service and very thorough too, checked everything out to ensure he found any and all issues were found! Just excellent!

LG - repair

The client's washing machine was not working; right after starting, an LE message appeared. The cause of the malfunction was a hall sensor that had stopped working properly. We replaced the sensor, and now the machine is working perfectly.

Whirlpool - repair
Whirlpool

The washing machine stopped working completely. First, we checked if there was voltage in the network. Next, we checked if electricity was reaching the control board. It was coming, but the machine did not respond to button presses or knob turns. There is often an indication on the control board that shows whether the board is working or not. It turned out that the problem was with the user interface board. Replacing the user interface board cured this washing machine.

GE - repair
GE

The client reported a leak. It turned out that one of the suspension rods was broken, causing strong vibrations during operation and partial dislodging of a return tube, which spilled liquid onto the floor. We replaced the suspension, repositioned the tube, and securely fastened it.

Samsung - repair
Samsung

The client noticed small sticky dirt particles remaining on the clothes and at the bottom of the washing machine after washing. The client used special cleaning agents for the washing machine, but unfortunately, this did not help. Also, he noted a bad smell coming from the washing machine. We found that dirt had accumulated under the agitator of the washing machine. We replaced the agitator (as it was not possible to clean it well) and cleaned the dirt beneath it.

LG Compact All-in-One - repair
LG Compact All-in-One

The client sought diagnostics for a washing machine that was given as a gift. It is a compact model with a built-in washing machine and dryer. The washing machine wouldn't turn on at all. We performed diagnostics and found that power was reaching the control board, but it showed no signs of life. The board was replaced. Now the indicator started working, but the machine did not respond to user actions. We replaced the user interface board, which completely fixed the washing machine.

Whirlpool - repair
Whirlpool

The client reported an F6E1 error, which indicates communication problems between the control board and the inverter board that controls the motor of the washing machine. We found that the inverter board had burned out. This often happens if the client overloads the machine with clothes. We replaced the inverter board, and the machine started working again.

GE Dryer/Washer - repair
GE Dryer/Washer

The client reported a malfunction that her washing machine was not spinning the drum. We found that the belt had come off. We repositioned the belt, and the washing machine is working. This often happens because a foreign object gets between the motor and the belt. It is important to ensure that items do not fall behind the drum as they can cause this problem.

LG - repair
LG

The client complained about water leaking from under the washing machine. Previously, a technician had replaced the suspension and the upper drum supports, but the cause of the leakage was not identified. Upon detailed inspection of the washing machine, we found that during one of the unbalanced spins, the drum had damaged the outer drum by rubbing a hole through it, causing water to leak during washing. Also, the geometry of the drum had changed, leading to strong vibrations even with replaced/new parts. We advised the client to purchase a new washing machine.

LG - repair

The washing machine was not draining water. We replaced the drain pump.

Samsung - repair

The dryer wouldn't start due to a worn idler pulley wheel causing the belt to misalign and incorrectly tension relative to the motor pulley, leading to belt abrasion. We replaced the motor pulley, idler pulley, and belt.

Whirlpool - repair
Whirlpool

A client approached us after another company couldn't diagnose the problem. The dryer was running, the timer was counting down, and the drum was spinning, but it would not ignite. We checked all components that could lead to this behavior and found them functional. We then tested the voltage in the circuit and discovered a faulty relay on the motherboard. The motherboard was replaced.

MyTag - repair

The client reported that when turned on, the motor buzzed loudly, but the drum didn't spin. It turned out the belt had come off and was jammed between the motor and the casing. We retrieved and repositioned the belt, but the same issue occurred after 20 minutes of operation. We had to replace all guides and the belt. It was challenging to find parts for this model, but we managed.

A client complained that the refrigerator temperature was rising despite setting it to the maximum cool. Electrical diagnostics did not reveal any problems. The issue was due to a clog in the sealing system. We depressurized the system, cleaned it, replaced the desiccant filter, tested for leaks under pressure, evacuated the air, and refilled it with refrigerant. The refrigerator is now working as new.

whirlpool - repair

The dispenser wasn't working, and the ice maker was completely filled with solid ice. We defrosted all the ice using a steamer and removed the water. It then became clear that the problem was a malfunctioning water valve that was incorrectly allowing water to continually enter the ice maker. The freezing caused the ice line to stop dispensing and forming new ice.

MyTag - repair

A client reported that when the microwave was turned on, the counter counted down, but nothing else happened. The problem was with a door switch that conducted electricity to the high voltage circuit and did not activate the magnetron. All door switches were replaced.

Samsung - repair

The microwave was not heating food. The issue was with a faulty magnetron.

MyTag - repair

Didn't hold temperature. The client thought the issue was with a faulty temperature sensor. However, it turned out that the problem was with the motherboard, which was not reading the thermosensor readings correctly and was unable to maintain the required temperature. Replacing the motherboard resolved the issue.

Samsung - repair

The client reported an issue where the spark igniter was not working correctly, and at one point, when the gas valve was turned on, it sparked a fire. We replaced the spark range ignitor and the gas switch of one of the burners.

In this model, each gas knob has a backlight if it is in the active state. One of the backlights stopped working. We replaced the microchip, and now the client has all working switch backlights.

Two opposite burners stopped igniting. The issue was with a dirty opposite edge of the igniter, which caused the spark to travel incorrectly and not ignite the gas flow. It turned out that the part was no longer manufactured and could not be purchased. Our team performed a process of grinding and leveling the edge. Now the cooktop is working as new.
